About the teacher:
Christopher Hauser’s main focus at Rochester Arc + Flame is welding, particularly TIG welding. He has been welding for about 9 years, and started his education at Mahany Welding Supply in the 5-week MIG welding class. Several years later he enrolled in the Rochester Arc + Flame/MCC Career Welding and Fabrication Program, and following graduation in early 2017 Chris was asked to come back and help with instructing classes. Primarily he has been involved with night and weekend classes, but have also instructed classes for RIT engineering and MCC collegiate students. Away from classes, Chris works in the engineering field and what little spare time he finds is generally spent off-roading/rock crawling, playing golf and of course welding at his home shop.
