Discover the history and stories hidden within places you walk by every day. Join Matt Rogers of The Lost Borough on a Hidden History walking tour of the Park Avenue neighborhoods. People, events, inventions, folklore, athletics, urban legends, and more will be featured in this survey of Rochester and its fascinating history hiding in plain sight.Please note: This is a 2.5-mile walking tour on flat or very gradually inclined pavement, sidewalks, and public park pathways. It is accessible to mobility aids. You are encouraged to bring your own personal water bottle to stay hydrated. This class will run rain or shine. Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather and walking shoes.Age:This class is appropriate for ages 14+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase one ticket for each person attending.Location:This class will begin and end at the intersection of Alexander Street and Park Avenue.Accessibility:If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form.
