Thursday, August 11th | 6:00pm-8:00pm | DIY Large Paper Dahlia

Using paper and common objects, learn to create a large paper dahlia you can display on the walls of your home or use to decorate an event. Through a number of paper crafting techniques, you will transform flat sheets of paper into a beautiful, three-dimensional work of art.

Please note: Please select color choice from the dropdown menu above. All materials are provided. Flower will be approximately 8 inches in size. Card templates are also provided so you can recreate the paper flowers at home.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Deaney (Deenee) Bautista is a Filipina paper florist, designer, and founder of Deaney Weaney Blooms, a paper flower studio formerly based in North Carolina and now based in Rochester, NY. After years of working as a visual merchandising and exhibition designer, she explored and fell in love with the craft of making paper flowers when she moved to the US from the Philippines 5 years ago. She shares her love for the craft by making and designing paper flower templates and tutorials that anyone can follow and make.
