If you've kept your plant baby alive and thriving, and now they've outgrown their space, it's time to propagate and repot! In this class, we will learn how to mix soil, how to choose the right pot, and how to propagate certain varieties. We will dig in, get our hands dirty, and put our overgrown plants in their fresh soil and new homes!

Please note: Each student will be provided with a plant, a pot, as well as potting materials for class.

Location:
This class will take place at Rochester Brainery, 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Shelby Rae is a Rochestarian with a passion for plants. With the hundreds of thousands of plant species in the world, it's hard to be a true expert in Botany, but Shelby has been traveling the country meeting with growers, viewing plants in their natural habitats, seeking expert advice, and researching so you don't have to. This is an educational company geared to providing the urban community of Rochester (and surrounding areas) houseplant knowledge to those who wish to bring nature into their homes. You can keep up with her events and tips on Instagram @thebotanist_rochester.
