If you’ve ever wanted to try comedy improvisation, now’s your chance! From classic Whose Line Is It Anyway? games to short scenes, improv has one fundamental element: saying “yes.” In this class, you and your teammates will use “yes” to transform a blank stage into scenes filled with objects and characters, all made up on the spot. You will begin to meet the infinite number of characters that exist within you by making strong physical, vocal, and emotional choices. You will get out of your head, trust your instincts, and explore your comedic voice. Not only is improv fun, but it is also a tool for life: it can make you a better listener, public speaker, and creative thinker.
Please note: This class is open to all levels of experience.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place online through Zoom. Links to Zoom classes are sent out by 5pm the day of the class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or email email@example.com.
