Wednesday, December 8th | 5:30pm-7:00pm | Cross Stitch Ornaments for Kids


Create two mini cross stitch hoops with a winter theme - perfect as ornaments or cute decorations! In this class, you will learn about the basic tools of cross stitching along with the fundamentals of this accessible hand embroidery variation. While pattern-reading will be taught, participants will be working on aida cloth with the pattern sketched on for ease.

This class is appropriate for all ages and is geared toward ages 7 - 13 years. Caregivers are welcome to stay for class.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607

About the teacher:
Lanni Maszerowski (she/they) is a self-proclaimed teacher by day, maker by night, and owner of Lanni Made. They call three places home: French Road Elementary School in Brighton, where she teaches fifth grade; the fixer-upper in Seabreeze that they share with their partner; and Rochester Brainery, where she is a team member (and frequent student as well). Lanni is passionate about social justice, especially queer rights and Black Lives Matter, and this passion is reflected in her work with students and well as in her art. Lanni loves rainbows.
