Join us as we learn the popular art of glass fusing! In this class students will get to create one of two projects: a small plate or decorative art. At the start of class students will choose from a huge assortment of colors and textures, then design their very own piece. Throughout the design process they'll learn how to safely and easily cut glass to fit their pattern. At the end, student projects will be placed in the kiln to be fused (melted flat). A second kiln firing, called slumping, will produce a shaped piece, such as a bowl.
Please note: All tools provided and no prior experience is required. Please bring safety glasses or be prepared to purchase a pair from the studio ($5). Please wear closed toe shoes. Projects will be kiln fired and available for pick up 10 days after class.
