Wednesday, April 8th | 7:00PM-8:00PM | History Happy Hour: The Oregon Trail

It’s time to hit the old dusty trail and head out west! Do you have what it takes to make it to Oregon? Can your wagons ford the river? Or will you die of dysentery? In this class, we’ll traverse the Oregon Trail together and explore America’s obsession with westward expansion in the mid-19th century. From manifest destiny and notions of striking it rich, to homesteads and pioneers, let’s see where the trail leads us on this journey into America’s rugged past.

Please note: While we're not able provide a beverage for you during class, we encourage students to grab their favorite beverage - alcoholic or non-alcoholic - to enjoy during this virtual happy hour.

This class is appropriate for ages 16+.

This class will take place online through Zoom. Links for Zoom classes will be sent by 5pm the day of the class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or email
