Light up your date night with this hot workshop! This workshop, taught by a professional metalsmith, is designed for jewelry artists who are ready to add ring making techniques. Learn to saw, size, file, texture, stamp and patina your own sterling silver band ring! 

Please note: Tickets are priced per couple. Masks are required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated students at Studio 34. Closed toe shoes must be worn. No wire or metals experience required. Sterling silver included for one complete ring. Soldering is demonstrated but not taught in this class. Please bring safety glasses or purchase from the studio ($5). This class is not for those interested in making wedding bands.


This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.

About the teacher:
LaShannon Citron is a jewelry designer and instructor from Rochester, NY. Her award winning creations have been the exemplary result of 15 years of self mastery of the craft. LaShannon grew up in the Marketview Heights District of the city. Influenced by the skills of her grandparents, LaShannon has always had a natural inclination to work and make things with her hands. Her travels to the western regions of New Mexico and Arizona give inspiration to her contemporary and artifactual style. LaShannon has been teaching at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center for more than 8 years.
