Mindful Movement will help you learn to be present, connect with your body, and improve your overall health. If you are someone who is currently “desk-bound” by your nine to five, then this is a class directed towards you. Modern technology has led to a more sedentary lifestyle. Learn why sitting as much as we do leads to unexplained aches and tensions within the body. Our bodies are designed to move! Become informed about how the human body was designed to move. Develop a stronger mind-body awareness to help prevent the recurrence of musculoskeletal discomforts.

About the teacher:Monique Golossi is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist who works with individuals to help them better understand their bodies and provides ways to live more comfortably. Monique operates a private practice, Therapeutic Directions: Bodywork & Massage, where she prides herself on empowering and encouraging her clients to live a life more balanced. Monique is driven to do her best for her clients and to expand her professional repertoire by participating in continuing education and reading professional journals.
