Enjoy the decadence of a restaurant from the comfort of home! In this cooking experience, students will learn how to make a delicious meal for two! Grab a partner and get ready to make pan-seared salmon with parmesan and asiago risotto, accompanied with fresh asparagus.

Please note: This class includes an ingredient kit provided by Dig In. Kit pick-up will be at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607, on March 11th between 4pm-7pm.

Equipment Needed:

- olive oil
- cooking spray 
- salt and pepper 
- measuring spoons
- 2 medium/large frying pans
- medium pot 
- baking sheet
- tongs 
- spatula 
- stirring spoon

This class is appropriate for ages 21+.

About the teacher:
Chef Marko Kelly has had a love affair with food ever since he was a child. Born and raised right here in Rochester, NY he has been cooking professionally since he was 15. Earning his stripes and working his way up through kitchens until he was given the opportunity to work at Char Steak & Lounge. While at Char he was able to study under the tutelage of Chef’s Jeremy Nucelli and Asa Scohy. From there he found his way to City Grill where he continued to grow under Chef James Dean. Eventually, he would become the Executive Sous Chef under another one of the Chefs he respects most, Chef Pedro Hoi-Chi. Finally, his last stop before deciding to share his gift was as the Executive Chef of Havana Cabana restaurant where he specialized in Caribbean food.
