Friday, December 4th | 6:00pm-7:15pm | Pasta Making with Seasonal Squash Sauce

Learn to make your own pasta, with a flare for fall! In this class, students will master basic egg pasta, and learn a seasonal squash sauce to complement it. Students are welcome to cook along with the online demo so they can enjoy a homemade Friday night meal after class! Please have the supplies listed below available to follow along with class.

Please note: Students will need to roast their squash before class begins. To roast your squash, cut the squash in half and de-seed it. Completely rub each half in oil and sprinkle with salt. Lay the squash face down on a baking sheet with edges and add two cups of water to the pan. Bake in a 425 degree oven until soft to the touch (or with a fork), about 45 minutes.

About the teacher:
Christin Ortiz has been working in restaurants since she was 19. Starting in the front of the house, she realized early on she preferred the back of the house.
