In this intro to soldering class, students will create a sterling silver toggle clasp bracelet using hand tools and the basics of torch work. Simple hammering and tooling elements can also be used to personalize each individual bracelet. 

Please note: If you need glasses for up-close work, please bring them!


This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Luna Cooperative, located at The Hungerford Building, 1115 E Main St, Door 7, Studio 311.

About the teacher:
Brittany Rea of Rea Designs is an artist working in a variety of materials including clay, paint, fibers, wood, and above all- metal. Rea Designs creates modern interpretations of timeless jewelry pieces focusing on the natural qualities of metal paired with an elegance through minimal design.
