Join us for a hands-on class inspired by the beautiful, natural elements of this area and modern wreath-making design. In this class, students will make and take home their very own handmade wreath, created with natural ingredients such as (but not limited to) a grapevine wreath base, pinecones of all sizes, slices of dried fruit, cinnamon sticks, and winterberry. Learn the tips and tricks to wreath-making and create your own lush winter wreath with an organic, earthy feel. Yes, you will be making Martha proud.

Please note: With proper care, these wreaths can last through March. Since wreath-making can be a sticky, scratchy, and messy ordeal, we recommend bringing work gloves for handling the pine and gardening/work gloves for designing your wreath (thinner gloves makes for easier hand-crafting). We also recommend bringing something to protect your clothing from the sap or a change of clothing if you are coming from work.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place at The Perkins Mansion, located at 494 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14607.
