If you love eucalyptus and magnolia as much as we do, this class is for you! In this class you will design a fresh holiday wreath dressed with some southern charm. We will be working with fresh pine, eucalyptus and magnolia leaves to create a wreath that your neighbors will inevitably be envious of. In addition to our fresh ingredients, pinecones and a darling selection of ribbon for you to create your wreath with. These eucalyptus and magnolia wreaths will be designed on a hand-made, natural grapevine base that will only add to the beauty!
Please note: In the class you'll be using fresh, local pine. With proper care, your wreath can last through March looking the same as when it was made in November. You'll receive care instructions at each class. Wreath-making can be a sticky and sometimes messy ordeal! We highly recommend bringing work gloves (found at Lowes, Home Depot, or Harbor Freight) for handling the pine. Additionally, we recommend bringing latex or poly gardening/ work gloves for designing your wreath (thinner gloves makes for easier hand-crafting!). Gloves will prevent the pine from scratching your skin and they will soak up the sap. We also recommend either bringing something to protect your clothing from the sap or a change of clothing if you are coming from work.
This class will take place at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester NY 14607.
