A new class in our Introduction to 'Fusing and Slumping' series! Beginner students learn to safely score and cut glass while creating this unusual decorative piece. No prior glass experience necessary!
Please note: All tools provided. Please bring safety glasses or be prepared to purchase a pair from the studio ($5). Please wear closed-toed shoes. Projects will be kiln fired and available for pick up 10 days after class.
This class is appropriate for ages 14+. Students between the ages of 14-18 must attend with parental permission.
This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side of the building. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.

About the teacher:
Yvonne Fordham is a Master Gardener and professional glass artist. Yvonne’s love of the outdoors and flowers can be seen in her beautiful glass panels, bird baths, and garden art decor. Yvonne’s art can be found locally at The Artful Gardener and Studio 34 Creative Arts Center where she is senior faculty.
