Did you have childhood dreams of being a knight, jedi, or musketeer? In this class, you'll go en garde and try the Olympic sport of fencing to fulfill those dreams! Learn the basic footwork moves, defensive actions, and use actual fencing equipment.
Please note: Both first-timers and those who have fenced before are welcome. Participants must wear athletic clothing and be ready to sweat in the gear. Please wear shorts or pants that go past the knee and bring a clean pair of sneakers and a water bottle. All fencing equipment will be provided for you during this class.Age:

About the teacher:
The Rochester Fencing Club has a record of competitive achievement producing National, Collegiate, World, and Olympic Champions. More specifically, the RFC has qualified five members to the 1996 Olympics, four to the 2000 Olympics, one to the 2008 Olympics, has produced two World Champions, and placed many fencers on World Championship teams. Our fencers have also won numerous team and individual National Championships.
