Wednesday, March 22nd | 6:30pm-8:30pm | The Art of Scent: Incense Blending

In this class, learn how incense is made, and the difference between combustible and non-combustible incense making. Then you’ll grind, smash, crush and craft your own handcrafted incense using resins as you learn how the use of different herbs and oils can affect scent and intended use. (We will be mixing non-combustible incense, specifically.) Students will leave with their own infused incense and a supply of igniting blocks for use at home, as well as information on how to charge and prepare a space for intentional use.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).
