Experience the beauty of natural dye using lush florals and bundle-dye techniques with fiber. This workshop will focus on the cured-effect from natural pigments and binding resist methods using organic material. Everyone will design a one-of-a-kind silk scarf, along different fabric samples that include cotton and linen.Age:This class is appropriate for ages 18+.Location:This class will take place indoors at Courtney Craig’s Textile Studio, located at 35 Flatt Rd, Rochester, NY 14623.Accessibility:If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. At this time, Courtney's studio is located on a 2nd floor, which is only accessible by stairs.About the teacher:Courtney Craig is a surface designer who enjoys the studio environment and creating custom textiles for interior spaces. Elements of vintage, contemporary, and traditional design are her favorites to explore.
