Introduction to Procreate

Thursday, July 8th | 6:30pm-8:30pm | Introduction to Procreate

So you have the Procreate app... now what? Procreate is great for making all types of digital art, including hand lettering and illustration. Come learn how to make the most of it: from creating a canvas to creating a many-layered work; using brushes to adding texture.

Please note: Students must have an iPad with the Procreate app installed and a stylus. Students do not need to have an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, though that is what the instructor will be using.

The recommended age for this class is 14+.

This class will take place online through Zoom. Links for Zoom classes will be sent 1 hour before the start of class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or submit an email through our contact page.

Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you prefer a sign language interpreter, please fill out our  contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).

About the teacher
Anna Vos is a modern calligrapher who has always loved the aesthetics of words. She is mostly self-taught and has completed Liss Smith’s freestyle calligraphy course. Anna lives in the Highland Park neighborhood with her husband Elliot and their two children, Ruby and Rory. She enjoys pretty words, making music, feeding people, and nerdy literature and television. You can find her shop, Anna Parade, on Etsy for custom lettered pieces and other nerdy artwork. She also teaches “Make Your Own Pierogi” at the Rochester Brainery.
