Monday, August 15th & Wednesday, August 17th | 5:30pm-7:30pm | Precious Metal Clay Techniques: Pendant/Earrings

What is Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and why is it so popular with jewelry artists? PMC is 99% pure fine silver, whereas sterling silver is only 92.5% silver. PMC comes in a soft, pliable form (like clay, but oh-so-different). This new media can be molded, sculpted, stamped and textured to make unique pendants, earrings and charms - all with no sawing needed. The fine silver included in the class fee will make several jewelry projects.

Please note: Please wear closed toe shoes. This is a two part class and students will need to be available on August 15 and 17th from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607.
