In this class you will learn the basic metalsmithing techniques of forming, shaping and soldering. You will have your choice of making a sterling silver or mixed metal (silver/brass) necklace finished on a sterling silver cable chain. This class is designed for both beginner and intermediate level students.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc). Stairs and an elevator are both available to access The Adorned Studios.

Meet the Teacher
Marisa Krol is the co-founder of The Adorned Studios, and founder of Interstellar Love Craft Adornment. She has always enjoyed working with her hands and expressing herself through a variety of artistic mediums and media. A decade ago, Marisa began studio assisting local jeweler Sharon Jeter, who generously gave her the basic tools and experience needed to embark on a career as a jewelry metalsmith. Marisa felt an instantaneous connection with this new medium and shortly thereafter, Interstellar Love Craft Adornment was born. She hopes to share the enthusiasm, energy, love, and connection to jewelry metalwork through her teaching style and classes with Rochester Brainery and The Adorned Studios.
