Ever wanted to grow your own cut flower garden, but didn't know where to start? In this class, students will learn about gardening tools and equipment, garden preparation, plant and seed selection, site location, spacing, pinching, weed maintenance, and harvesting. In the spring, students will have the opportunity to pick up a flat of 48 cut flower plugs and get planting, using their new-found knowledge.
Please note: No experience required. Each student will receive a flat of 48 cut flower plugs (all annuals) in late May, available for pick-up at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave.F109, Rochester, NY 14607 (dates TBD).Age:

Taking on the role of farmer and designer, Jenny captures the modern garden design style with all flowers, foliage and other natural elements grown in our back yard of Rochester, NY. She is passionate about growing local, sustainable, and organic flowers that can be enjoyed by all.
