Friday, March 25th | 6:00pm-7:15pm | Make Your Own Gnocchi

Join the tradition of making little “pillow” dumplings of dough! In this class, students will have a chance to see two ways of creating gnocchi: with ricotta cheese and potato. You are encouraged to cook along with the online demo so you can enjoy a homemade meal after class.

Ingredients needed:
- 16 oz. ricotta
- 4 egg yolks
- 3-4 of your favorite type of medium/large potatoes (white, yellow, russet), cut lengthwise and baked face up in a 400 degree oven until soft with a fork
- 32 oz. white flour
- salt
- your favorite marinara or pesto

Equipment needed:
- 2 bowls (medium or large)
- 2 spatulas
- fork
- cook's knife or pastry scraper (to cut the gnocchi)
- cutting board
- 1-2 baking sheets
- large pot for boiling

Please note: Each recipe demonstrated will yield about 1 1/2 pounds of gnocchi. Gluten Free flour can be used as a substitute for white flour.
