Learn to paint without having to worry about ‘getting it right.’ In this class all painting will be inspired from within: your experiences, passions, memories and imagination. You'll create a watercolor background that gives your painting or greeting cards depth and interest, then tap into your intuition to make shapes, forms, visual textures and patterns using acrylic gouache paint, acrylic paint markers and gel pens. For anyone who feels stuck, sample marks, shapes, forms and patterns will be available to get you started. A fun, relaxing, and even meditative class!

Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc). Classes will take place on the 2nd floor of Figgy Studio & Shop which is only accessible by stairs.

Meet the Teacher
Carole Agosto has been drawing since she was a child and has used drawing as an outlet for major events that occurred in her life. She has art journals filled with drawings in pen and watercolor. After being inspired by urban sketchers in Chicago, she became a member of Urban Sketchers of Syracuse. Carole is now a member of the Greater Rochester Plein Air art group and has competed in many art competitions.
