Halloween (Samhain) is spooky, but it's so much more than that. It's powerful. Traditionally, Halloween marks the time in the wheel of the year when the veils are the thinnest and the underworld is close enough to touch. It falls in the astrological season of Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, the sign associated with the underworld: secrets and things that you feel but can't quite name. It rules over the eighth house and is sister sign to earthy Taurus. All humans have Scorpio in their charts - it's just a matter of where.
