Do you want to break out of your improv rut? Or, would you like to try improv for the first time? This class will help you boost your confidence on stage! “Strut Through the Rut II” is a continuation of the September class which explored physical and emotional choices and character work to help you hit the ground running in scenes. We’ll revisit the fundamentals of improv (including “yes, and” and teamwork) to help you get out of your head, trust your instincts, and play the game of the scene. Whether you are a veteran improviser or are just beginning to do scene work, this class will help you live in the moment and say “yes.” Not only is improv fun, but it is also a tool for life: it can make you a better listener, public speaker, and creative thinker.
Please note: “Strut through the Rut I" is not a prerequisite for this class. This class is open to all levels of experience. Ages 18+.
This class will take place at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester NY 14607.
