Explore alcohol ink and its application in painting to create a one-of-a-kind fall-inspired painting on Yupo paper. We'll utilize inks to mimic a fluid look in bold and vivid fall colors to create a pumpkin! We will focus on line work to emphasize the properties and outline of our gourd. Students will be experimenting with ink application and will leave with a basic understanding of how to pursue the medium further. Print includes a professional matte package to fit in an 11" x 14" frame.

This class will take place at Figgy Studio & Shop, located at 251 Park Ave, Rochester NY 14607.

Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc). Classes will take place on the 2nd floor of Figgy Studio & Shop which is only accessible by stairs.

Laura Cott is artist and owner of LaCott Fine Art, living and working in Western New York. Cott graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts degree in painting. LaCott Fine Art was born out of a passion for being creative and a desire to bring a sense of expression and beauty to the world through physical products and workshops. The educational piece of LaCott Fine Art focuses on in-person workshops and online resources for multiple mediums and age ranges, and works closely with other creative minds and businesses in the community to pursue the teaching of the arts.
