Wednesday, August 31st | 6:00pm-8:00pm | Art Journaling

In this class, students will learn how to create expressive journal pages in order to understand and observe their inner thoughts and feelings reflectively. This workshop is all about introspection and self–expression. We will focus on creating a collage spread and then painting into it and adding more detail to the spread with pens and markers. Be inspired by song lyrics, dreams, writing, or poetry.

Please note: Students are required to bring their own sketchbook or journal. Any notebook, sketchbook, or journal with blank, lined, or gridded paper will do. Paper will be provided for students who do not have one.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).
