Monday, October 23rd | 6:30PM-8:30PM | Brush Lettering 101

Learn the basics of hand lettering with brush-style pens! This class will teach the building blocks of brush letting. Students will learn the necessary technique and letter shapes to make beautiful works of art that can be kept or given as gifts.

Please note: The cost of this class includes a brush lettering kit.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place at the Rundel Memorial Library, located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604.

About the teacher:
Lanni Maszerowski (they/them) is a self-proclaimed teacher by day, maker by night, and owner of Lanni Made. They call three places home: French Road Elementary School in Brighton, where they teach fifth grade; the fixer-upper in Seabreeze that they share with their partner; and Rochester Brainery, where they are a team member (and frequent student as well). Lanni is passionate about social justice, especially queer rights and Black Lives Matter, and this passion is reflected in their work with students and well as in their art. Lanni loves rainbows.
