Aspiring to generate income with your art or craft, or interested in growing a small business? This workshop will give students a detailed understanding of business development and strategic planning techniques necessary to start or grow a creative business. Students will also learn how to set targets and define key performance indicators, complete market analysis, develop a marketing strategy, create business and project plans, and measure performance.

The recommended age for this class is 18+.

About the teacher
Jessica Hasler Southwell holds a BS degree from Roberts Wesleyan College. She founded apPROach Consulting, LLC to deliver strategic planning, executive coaching, project management, and business development services to individuals and businesses. Jessica is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA) and is passionate about helping artists, small businesses, and non-profit organizations grow.
