Are you an artist or maker who aspires to generate income with your art or craft? Perhaps you’ve already started your business but want to help it grow? In this workshop, students will gain a detailed understanding of business development and strategic planning techniques necessary to start or grow a creative business. Students will also learn how to set targets and define key performance indicators, complete market analysis, develop a marketing strategy, create business and project plans, and measure performance.

Please note: This ticket includes one glass of wine for those 21+. Anyone under the age of 21 can enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage. A happy half-hour will take place from 6:00pm-6:30pm and the class will run from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

This class is appropriate for ages 16+.

This class will take place at Living Roots Wine & Co. located at 1255 University Ave. Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Jessica Hasler Southwell holds a BS degree from Roberts Wesleyan College. She founded apPROach Consulting, LLC to deliver strategic planning, executive coaching, project management, and business development services to individuals and businesses. Jessica is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA) and is passionate about helping artists, small businesses, and non-profit organizations grow.
