Candle Light Pansy Pot

Sunday, May 2nd | 1:00pm-2:00pm | Candle Light Pansy Pot

'Tis the season for pansies! In this class, students will create a pansy pot that they can enjoy inside for about two weeks before moving it outdoors that features a wine class with a candle as a lovely focal point. Pansies love to have five or more hours of sunlight a day so they can continue to flower. They are considered an annual, but have a 50 percent chance of coming back if planted in the ground for color the following year. Along with planting their pot, students will also learn everything they need to know about pansies.

Please note: Although not required, consider bringing lightweight gardening gloves to enhance your class experience.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Jamie's Greenhouse, located at 1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY.

About the teacher:
Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture, and completed a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything but also got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color!
