Learn the basics of chainmail as you craft your own jump rings or bracelet from a selection provided. Utilizing the Byzantine weave or European 4-in-1, your final product will be a wearable piece of art.
Please note: No experience necessary and all materials and safety equipment are included. Please make sure to wear close-toed sneakers or boots, jeans and a cotton t-shirt. Do not wear flip-flops, open toed shoes or highly flammable clothing.
This class is appropriate for ages 14+.
This class will take place at Rochester Arc + Flame Center, located at 125 Fedex Way, Rochester NY.

About the teacher:
Craig Zaremba is a chainmail instructor at Rochester Arc + Flame. He has been an instructor at Rochester Arc + Flame for 2 years. Craig is also a middle school science teacher in the City of Rochester and this job provides him with another opportunity to impart his love of life long learning to other people. He has been working with chainmail for about 11 years. He is still experimenting with learning how to anodize aluminum rings for color. In addition to making chainmail jewelry, he is also an accomplished woodworker and just started bowl turning, he plays the guitar, and is a self-proclaimed "master fixer of stuff."
