Check out this new weave in the Chainmaille Techniques series. Also known as inverted Roundmaille, when embellished with color this weave is known as Captured Crystal. This pattern is an adaptation that includes the students choice of colored crystal or pearls. Caution: this beautiful design may become your favorite, and also your friends!

Please note: All materials and tools are included. No experience necessary!

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side of the building under the awning labeled #34. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.

About the teacher:
Barbara DeYoung is an artist and a jewelry designer, but foremost, she is a teacher. She is a senior instructor at Rochester’s Studio 34 Creative Arts Center and teaches chainmaille, bead weaving, bead embroidery, jewelry design, wire wrap , and wire techniques classes at local schools, libraries and bead stores. Barbara has won awards for her designs using lapidary stones.
