Wednesday, April 15th | 6:30pm-8:30pm | Chocolate Tasting

Chocolate tastes good, that's no secret. But how many of us have truly savored the flavor or let it melt in our mouths, slowly enjoying each morsel? During this workshop, students will taste their way around the world with a variety of chocolate samples available, including rare albino chocolate! You'll learn about the different types of chocolate, their cultivation, and why it's important to know the sourcing of your chocolate products. As a special treat, students will also receive a special coupon code to use on the Laughing Gull Chocolates website at the closing of the class!

Please note: The chocolates to taste during this class will be shipped to you from Laughing Gull Chocolates (shipping cost included in ticket price). To share your shipping address with us, please use this Google Form. Since the chocolate will take 1-3 days to ship, registration for this class will only be open until 4/10.

The recommended age for this class is 12+.

This class will take place online through Zoom. Links for Zoom classes will be sent by 5pm the day of the class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or email

About the teacher:
Ever the chocoholic, Lindsay Tarnoff grew up in a family of bakers and sweet tooths, a family who instilled in her social justice values. As college graduation neared, and the question of a career post college was imminent, she started telling people she was going to "save the world with chocolate." Lindsay spent the years immediately following college working in the nonprofit world, but the idea of saving the world with chocolate brewed in her mind. Lindsay has devoted time and passion in developing a meaningful mission, delicious recipes, and a strong business, first in her native Rhode Island, then in her adopted home of Rochester, NY. Her business, Laughing Gull Chocolates combines chocolate - the food of the gods - with the community in order to make a difference at home and in the communities that produce our beloved chocolate.
