There isn’t anything funnier than the truth! In this class, you will learn that the biggest and best laughs come from honesty. By playing improv games and performing short scenes, you will create grounded characters and strong relationships that focus on the emotional connections between you and your teammates. Rather than going for the joke, you will find that by reacting truthfully, the funny will come. Whether you are a veteran improviser or are just beginning to do scene work, this class will help you live in the moment and say “yes.” Not only is improv fun, but it is also a tool for life: it can make you a better listener, public speaker, and creative thinker.
This class will take place at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester NY 14607.
