In this three-part workshop, students will develop a more in-depth understanding of crochet with assisted, hands-on practice! Learn basic crochet skills as well as the ability to read patterns. Primary focus will be on chaining, the single crochet stitch, the double crochet stitch, and creating a magic circle. In addition to technique, students will also learn about the most sustainable and ethically produced yarns. The first class will focus on the mechanics of crocheting and touch on the best ways to shop sustainably. In the second class, students will review stitches and begin their project. The final workshop will be spent working on project patterns to take home.
