Design your own one-of-a-kind pendant using a semi-precious stone and sterling silver wire! In this class held at
Bead Breakout, select a stone of your choice and create an interesting accent with silver wire. Students will have the opportunity to create texture using hammers, and pendants will be finished with a silver electroplated chain.
Please note: We will provide extra light and have some magnifying glasses on hand, but please bring your reading glasses if you use them.

About the teachers:
Lisa Mahoney is a sales associate and jewelry instructor for
Bead Breakout. She is also the owner and designer for Cripple Creek Jewelry. Lisa received a degree in studio art with a concentration in metal work and jewelry from SUNY Brockport under the direction of Thomas Markeson.
Karen Cagnina has a background in graphic design. She has worked as a
graphics specialist for a pharmaceutical company, and later for a medical imaging company in
Rochester, NY. Although Karen worked for a fine jeweler after high school, the prospect of making jewelry never occurred to her; Karen happened upon jewelry making about 6 years ago, starting with simple jewelry designs which have progressed into more intricate designs for bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pendants, rings and (most recently) wire weaving projects. Karen has been an instructor for 2 years with
Bead Breakout in Brighton, NY.
