De-Stress with Mindful Doodling

Thursday, May 6th | 6:30pm-8:00pm | De-Stress with Mindful Doodling


Feeling anxious lately? Come relax and get out of your head with soothing mindful doodling. In this class, students will learn the importance of doodling for the brain, doodle practices that help refocus thinking and get grounded, as well as some breathing techniques to set the stage.

Please note: Participants may want headphones, since music may be played during class.

Supplies Needed:
- blank paper
- writing tools (Sharpies, crayons, and markers work best)

The recommended age for this class is 12+.

About the teacher
Molly O'Riley is an artist, a creativity doula, and founder of The Darling Revolution (@thedarlingrevolution on Instagram). She doodles, teaches, and helps people alchemize their creativity for deeper self-compassion and resilience. When she’s not in her studio at The Yards In Rochester’s Public Market, she’s probably sitting outside somewhere reading a comic book and drinking an iced hazelnut latte.
