Ever wanted a map for your website? Have information that you think would be better displayed through a fun interactive map? Or maybe you're just a fan of cartography? Join us for a fun class where you will learn how to make an interactive digital map that can be embedded in a website, shared on social media, or just a fun way to display some data. All you'll need is your laptop- no coding skills or prior cartographic knowledge required!

About the teacher:
Kate Meyers Emery is the manager of digital engagement at the George Eastman Museum, spending her days coding, tweeting, and creating within the historic home and museum. When she's not at the museum, she's touring NY's wine region for her blog VinifeROC, playing with new digital tools and codes, or relaxing with her partner and two cats, Gouda and Feta. In her secret past life as a mortuary archaeologist, she used digital tools to investigate cemetery landscapes. You can learn more about her on her personal blog, DigitalLark, and access resources from her digital classes.
