Using paper and other common objects and materials, create a pot of paper succulents that will never wilt! Using a number of paper crafting techniques, you will transform flat sheets of paper into beautiful, three-dimensional works of art.Please note: Please choose color option from the drop down menu above. To request a color not listed in the menu above, please reach out to the instructor directly via email. All materials are provided. A video tutorial will be available for students' reference to recreate flowers outside of class.Age:This class is appropriate for ages 14+.Location:This class will take place at Figgy Studio & Shop, located at 251 Park Ave, Rochester NY 14607.Accessibility:If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Classes will take place on the 2nd Floor of Figgy Studio & Shop which is only accessible by stairs.About the teacher:Deaney (Deenee) Bautista is a Filipina paper florist, designer, and founder of Deaney Weaney Blooms, a paper flower studio formerly based in North Carolina and now based in Rochester, NY. After years of working as a visual merchandising and exhibition designer, she explored and fell in love with the craft of making paper flowers when she moved to the US from the Philippines 5 years ago. She shares her love for the craft by making and designing paper flower templates and tutorials that anyone can follow.
