If you enjoy container gardening and have an old cotton washcloth that you would like to re-purpose then this class is for you! This project is similar to the "Draped Hypertufa Towel" project, but more manageable in size! Because the vessel is smaller in size, you will be able to take it home to let dry and cure. You will also go home with a 4.5-5" plastic insert that you will plant with succulents of your choosing and will also learn how to care for your succulents. Please note: Students who are interested in learning how to propagate succulents as they mature are invited to remain after class.Age:This class is appropriate for ages 14+.Location:This class will take place at Creative Gardens, located at 1965 Watson Hulbert Rd, Macedon, NY 14450. The greenhouse is on the Macedon-Fairport border and may show up as Fairport on a GPS.Accessibility:If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).About the teacher:Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture, and complete a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything, but got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color! For details on our COVID-19 policies, class cancellation policy, parking, and more please visit our FAQs.
