Tuesday, December 1st | 6:00pm-8:00pm | Dried Flower Ornaments with Flowerwell

Enjoy a night playing with dried flowers with Jenny from Flowerwell! In this hands-on, crafty online class, students will be designing miniature dried flower brass hoop ornaments. These sweet ornaments designed with locally-grown dried flowers can adorn your tree or your holiday gifts (winner of the cutest wrapping job coming at you!). Each student will receive an assortment of 5 small brass hoops to design in class. Students will be free to make their own creations once taught basic steps on working with the miniature brass hoops and dried flowers. Jenny Rae will model designing two brass hoop ornaments in class and then students will be free to design their own creations on their 5 hoops.

Supplies needed in addition to class kit:
- glue, preferably fast-setting glue such as a hot glue gun (if you do not have a hot glue gun and would like to get one for class, this one is perfect and inexpensive)
- sharp scissors or flower snips (for cutting up the dried flowers)

Please note: Students will need to pick-up their supply kit from Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607 on either Sunday, November 29th between 10am-4:30pm or Monday, November 30th between 5:30pm-8:00pm. Dried flowers are messy so it is recommended to cover your work surface with paper (or something similar).

This class is appropriate for ages 10+.

This class will take place online through Zoom. Links to Zoom classes will be sent out by 5pm the day of the class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or submit an email through our contact page.
