Early Spring Urn

Sunday, April 18th | 1:00pm-2:00pm | Early Spring Urn

Getting the itch to garden? Come plant an urn perfect for either a front entry or patio and leave the mess at the greenhouse! To make this arrangement, students will incorporate perennials, annuals, some artificial floral stems, and a pop of wheat grass to create their own unique look. This planter will be able to withstand mid-April temperatures.

Please note: In the drop down menu, please select if you would like to purchase a black, plastic urn style pot or if you would like to bring your own urn to class. If you are bringing your own urn, it must be between 10 in.-12 in. wide. Although not required, consider bringing lightweight gardening gloves to enhance your class experience.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Jamie's Greenhouse, located at 1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY.

About the teacher:
Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture, and completed a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything but also got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color!
