Sunday, December 11th | 10:00am-11:00am | Evergreen Ring

Bring the outdoors inside with this fresh evergreen ring and create a beautiful seasonal display! Make your ring the star of the show when placed on your dinner, end, or coffee table. In this workshop hosted at Creative Gardens, we will be using several varieties of fresh cut greens embellished with traditional seasonal or wintry colors. The rings will be 10- 12” width when finished.

Please note: Candles are not included with this class. Seeping sap from fresh evergreens can be sticky and get on your clothes, so be sure to dress appropriately and warmly, as this class will be held in an outdoor greenhouse. Don't forget your gloves and a warm drink! Although not required, consider bringing garden pruners and gardening gloves to enhance your class experience.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Creative Gardens, located at 1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY. The greenhouse is on the Macedon-Fairport border and may show up as Fairport on a GPS.

If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).

About the teacher:
Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture and complete a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything, but got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color!
