Monday, August 1st-Friday, August 5th | 10:00am-12:00pm | Fiber Arts Camp: Ages 6-8

An exciting week dedicated to the fiber arts! This summer art camp will incorporate various hands-on techniques that include exploration through mixed media, weaving and natural dyeing. Each day, students will create a different textile piece that can be put on display, worn, or simply admired. 

Please note: There will be a mini "critique" showcasing student's work from 11:30am-12:00pm on Friday, August 5th that parents are encouraged to attend. 

This camp is appropriate for ages 6-8.

This camp will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or your child will be attending camp with an aide, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).

About the teacher:
Courtney Craig is a surface designer who enjoys the studio environment and creating custom textiles for interior spaces. Elements of vintage, contemporary, and traditional design are her favorites to explore. Courtney is currently living in Rochester and being inspired every day from the local artisan community.
