Join us and Lento for a fun, Galentine's Day themed evening! The night will begin at Rochester Brainery for a class on making a soothing shower scrub. Shower scrubs are an ideal way to exfoliate and soften winter-weary skin. Students will make their own with sugar or salt, oils and their choice of color and scent. After, you'll head to Lento inside Village Gate for a three course, romantic movie scene inspired meal (meal, gratuity, and one glass of wine or mocktail included!)

The menu will include dishes inspired from three movies: 

Course 1: When Harry met Sally
Petit Open faced Reuben sandwiches, house made Autumn's Harvest grass-fed corned beef, Russian dressing, Lento sauerkraut, gruyere cheese on fresh baked seeded sourdough rye
*Substitute corned beef for a vegetarian option

Course 2: Lady and the Tramp
Hand made spaghetti ala chittara, San Marzano tomato sauce, River Ridge Farm Pork meatballs, fresh basil & Italian cheeses
*Substitute meatless balls for the vegetarian option

Course 3: Chocolat
Flourless chocolate torte, sea salt caramel, cocoa whipped cream

- One glass of wine or mocktail

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave. F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Beth Byrne is an experienced, certified soapmaker and teacher who enjoys sharing what she knows. She began as a gardener, then herbalist and finally, an avid bath and body maker. Currently, Beth serves as the Managing Editor of Making Soap, Cosmetics & Candles Magazine and is the past secretary of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild’s Board of Directors. She resides in the Rochester area with her husband and two dogs.

About the restaurant:
Lento is committed to providing unique and delicious dishes using food procured as much as possible from local, sustainable and organic purveyors. Their produce is sourced seasonally from local farms, and bread and desserts are baked in-house daily! They even pickle their own vegetables and make their own condiments, sauces, and dressings.
