Join us for a two-hour, hands on glass art workshop. Learn to score and shape glass, types of glass used, and what happens in the kiln when the glass goes in. You will create one 10-inch round bowl. No prior experience is required. For students with glass fusing experience, learning to cut circles in this class will ramp up your skills!
Please note: All tools provided. Please bring safety glasses or be prepared to purchase a pair from the studio ($5). Please wear closed-toed shoes. Projects will be kiln fired and available for pickup 10 days after class.

:This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side of the building. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.

:Michele Ramsey is a recently retired school teacher and now shares her professional teaching experience as a glass instructor at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center. Michele has studied with world class glass artists to develop her body of work.
