Thursday, February 24th | 6:30pm-8:00pm | Hammered Necklace

Learn the bending and hammering techniques necessary to create an elegant necklace! This beginner-level class encourages the comfort of using hand tools and helps create a foundation for students to continue making their own pieces. Use a variety of pliers, files, mallets, and hammers to create a one-of-a-kind hammered necklace that's ready to wear right out the door.

Please note: Please select your metal type in the drop down menu. If you wear glasses for working up close or reading, please bring them with you.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Luna Cooperative, located at The Hungerford Building, 1115 E Main St, Door 7, Studio 311.

Brittany Rea of Rea Designs is an artist working in a variety of materials including clay, paint, fibers, wood, and above all- metal. Rea Designs creates modern interpretations of timeless jewelry pieces focusing on the natural qualities of metal paired with an elegance through minimal design.
